The village of Villefagnan is famous for the medieval twin towers. Villefagnan has two bakers for quality french bread and cakes, a butcher for the best cuts of meat, a chemist, two grocers, two bars with one that is also a restaurant that serves a fixed priced and A la carte menu at lunchtime and in the evening. Tuesday to Saturday, freshly cooked pizza can be purchased at Donatello's in an amazing amount of varieties, all cooked to perfection in a traditional wood burning oven.
If cheese is your favourite, why not visit the goat farm and try some many types available, if you're unsure about goats cheese, try the young cheese, its very mild and creamy, put on french bread, its delicious.
Two places of interest is the Rural museum in the centre and the recently renovated windmill just to the north, both worth a visit.
Villefagnan has its own bank, its not open every day, but it has a 24hr cash dispenser.
For the ladies, there is a hairdresser in the centre and a beauty salon, the salon is just along the road from us and is called "Sylvia's" why not treat yourself, its highly recommended. Sylvia is at 20 Route d'Aigre.
